Wapi Utamaduni

360° Short Documentary

For my capstone project as a Helen Fellow at the American Musem of Natural History, I filmed, produced, and stitched an immersive 360-degree short documentary. In the piece, WaMeru tribe elders and youth share stories, along with the process of creating a local tribal museum in Tanzania that preserves and features their long-neglected history. The film opened at the Margaret Mead Film Festival at AMNH this October 2017.
